but if she did, and you had tickets, and she was deported, and the show was canceled...

Exactly!

Bimble, Saturday, 18 August 2007 07:27 (eighteen years ago)

But it's LILY ALLEN.

marmotwolof, Saturday, 18 August 2007 07:30 (eighteen years ago)

Hahahah there's a downright witty joke in here somewhere but I guess I'm not the one to bring it out. Merely posting a silly picture of say, squirrels eating nuts isn't going to cut it either.

Bimble, Saturday, 18 August 2007 08:12 (eighteen years ago)

alizee_dick_fencing.gif would be a good start

marmotwolof, Saturday, 18 August 2007 08:21 (eighteen years ago)

two months pass...

Pop star Lily Allen is to present her own BBC Three show based on the social networking phenomenon that helped launch her music career.
The audience will be made up entirely of Allen's online friends, while viewers will present parts of the show and put questions to celebrity guests.

Mark G, Thursday, 8 November 2007 13:58 (eighteen years ago)

those days of the mixtape seem so very long ago now.

mark e, Thursday, 8 November 2007 14:16 (eighteen years ago)

Her as the new Agent Provocateur model is... confusing, to say the least. tbh would rather fap to Daisy Lowe in bondage gear than Lallen's Robbie Rotten chin, but I suppose they know best.

Dom Passantino, Thursday, 8 November 2007 14:17 (eighteen years ago)

heard it was gonna be some french girl now. would be more disappointed if i didn't know ed chemical was hitting it tbh.

God the trailer for this is awful.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 23:51 (eighteen years ago)

i accuse lily allen, kate nash is all her fault.

GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Thursday, 31 January 2008 09:42 (eighteen years ago)

Why would anyone involved put themselves through the failure that the show will be?

StanM, Saturday, 2 February 2008 10:47 (eighteen years ago)

Lily Allen is ok, really.

good luck to her, I feel strangely anti-haters about her for some reason, she has something, maybe she ain't quite grabbed the nettle of what that is JUST yet but it's there y'know.

fandango, Sunday, 3 February 2008 00:03 (eighteen years ago)

Maybe he'll fuck Adele next.

Dom Passantino, Sunday, 3 February 2008 00:07 (eighteen years ago)

Oddly I've found myself thinking "fuck Adele" a lot the last couple of weeks.

Noodle Vague, Sunday, 3 February 2008 01:05 (eighteen years ago)

So dull.

libcrypt, Sunday, 3 February 2008 06:05 (eighteen years ago)

At a party last night somebody played Lily Allen.

I was like "lol oh ya."

StanM, Thursday, 7 February 2008 11:38 (eighteen years ago)

How about a second album then?

Dom Passantino, Thursday, 7 February 2008 11:42 (eighteen years ago)

Apparently, the NME says there's a new track called "Everyone's At It" and it's "a William Orbit style song about 'politicians and scene-kids on drugs'. And it's 'totally fantastic'."

StanM, Thursday, 7 February 2008 12:22 (eighteen years ago)

To paraphrase TV's Richard Wilson: "WE DON'T BELIEVE YOU!"

Dingbod Kesterson, Thursday, 7 February 2008 12:30 (eighteen years ago)

Everyone's A' I'

.. more than likely.

Mark G, Thursday, 7 February 2008 14:02 (eighteen years ago)

As one of Lily Allen's MySpace friends I was wondering where my fucking invite to her TV show was. But after watching the first episode last night she can stick it.

DavidM, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 11:54 (eighteen years ago)

Damn, it was slow. Also, too long!

Mark G, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 11:57 (eighteen years ago)

Is "You look OK for a chick that just miscarried" a decent chat-up line? I'm trying to work out how to bag that.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 20:55 (eighteen years ago)

She dumped that chemical dude, A Friend tells some gossip thing.

Blonde + two new tracks.

http://www.myspace.com/lilymusic

StanM, Thursday, 17 April 2008 19:40 (eighteen years ago)

i've seen the blond, i love it even tho it looks very bottled. "i don't know" is decent, not really enough to make me care.

Surmounter, Thursday, 17 April 2008 19:46 (eighteen years ago)

I don't think the blonde works for her at all. Can't wait to hear the new tracks when I get home tonight.

Bimble, Thursday, 17 April 2008 20:12 (eighteen years ago)

they're both still demos, according to her "yagga yo" blog entry

StanM, Thursday, 17 April 2008 20:27 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I'm not all that crazy about the new ones either. It's hard to imagine her in a new role now that she's dropped the ol' attitude. It kindof makes me wish she'd turn 30 already and was more sure of what she is and what she wants.

Bimble, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:13 (eighteen years ago)

she's no Kate Nash

milo z, Friday, 18 April 2008 03:11 (eighteen years ago)

The audio playback's all... messed up on that page. It might have something to do with these embedded video comments, but I couldn't figure out how to stop certain audio streams. Obnoxious. Anyway, that one song I could hear didn't sound bad ('i don't know').

Is there already a complete backlash against her? There were a handful of good tracks on her album, there's definite potential there, but generic junk too. It DOES seem weird that she's a talk show host now. Yes these comments are super late, I know.
