Yes! this song is incredible.

I'm so in love with this album OMG.

I don't see how New Amerykah Pt. 2: Return of The Ahnk (out in July) can top this.

this album is so great

this album is kind of bleak though, it's like a post-crack blaxploitation soundtrack or something.. "that hump" is brutal

and yeah, not that track either. i just dont understand sa-ra. they were one of those "i heard the hype long before i heard any of their music" types, and nothing has even been remarkable to me in any way. in fact, i kind of hate them. but if they bring the goods for ms badu, that's whats up.

The breakbeat on this is suspiciously similar to the one on As One's "Planetary Folklore" (or some other late '90s Degiorgio track).

Anyone know who's responsible for the crazy synth shit on some of those late '70s Nancy Wilson albums (one of the tracks off Music on My Mind is the root of "Honey")? Guessing it's either Larry Farrow or Clarence McDonald. Probably need to get whatever other albums this person is on -- I have "Sunshine," off another Wilson album from the same era, on a comp and love that too.

yeah I have no idea.. but I heard the original track for 'honey' 'i'm in love' and it doesn't have any of that awesome sythy-ness, so i'm guess 9th wonder got a live band to play over the sample or something
