yeah I almost feel bad making fun of him but he does seem to be a massive piece of trash on multiple fronts. there is definitely something not quite right with him.

at one point he had like 600+ albums on Spotify which convinced me that he found a way to game the algorithm somehow. as far as I can tell he was just releasing a new album every day by slightly remixing his existing tracks. It looks to be mostly down now. too bad, some of those album covers were amazing.

Couldn't say for sure. He doesn't seem to talk politics in interviews; he's very on-message at all times. I do know he's got a side project called British Lion, but that's probably just old-man-pines-for-the-good-old-days metal, nothing darker.

I once interviewed Carlos Santana, and there was a extremely well known professional present at the time: he is more or less dominant in another part of the rock business, like to the extent that every single ILXor who loves Maiden knows who this guy is, and he was doing his thing right before I interviewed the rock star…for extremely ill-advised reasons, he was talking epic amounts of shit about AC/DC-GnR-Priest level artists in front of me…and yes, he said that Harris is hideously racist…I have every reason to believe him, but again, was baffled that he was talking this amount of shit in front of me, who he knew was a journalist…

Also how his biggest nightmare would be if his son was dating a black guy. Apparently his crew and band mates tease him about his attitudes now, according to one of my friends who is an Iron Maiden fanatic. I read the interview he showed me years ago, and I wasn't a fan at the time so I didn't care. I love them now, despite Harris' "Archie Bunker" attitudes. Its not like he is a neo-nazi, just kind of ignorant.
