Does PCP turn people into cannibals?

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Friday, 12 January 2007 04:07 (nineteen years ago)

With Shyne it was just attempted murder, right?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Friday, 12 January 2007 05:19 (nineteen years ago)

I think I am going to barf.

Isn't PCP what made Houston gouge his eye out?

musically (musically), Friday, 12 January 2007 05:24 (nineteen years ago)

Houston, a 21-year-old rising R & B star said to have been battling PCP use and mental problems, went to his hotel room while on tour in London in late January, ostensibly to read the Bible, and gouged out one of his eyes.

Must have been reading Matthew 5:29.

Marmot (marmotwolof), Friday, 12 January 2007 05:30 (nineteen years ago)

ok lol at that

The Android Cat (Dan Perry), Friday, 12 January 2007 15:12 (nineteen years ago)

Well. PCP will do that to you. . .

Thomas Mehlt (Tokyo Ghost Stories), Friday, 12 January 2007 18:22 (nineteen years ago)

three years pass...

so apparently Tik Tokk, formerly of Christian rap group Gospel Gangstaz, was arrested for murder in 2006. now that's gotta be a hard one to explain!

J-Dee from Ice Cube's Lench Mob crew did time for murder (and thus did not appear on their second album)

assorted curses (Shakey Mo Collier), Monday, 10 January 2011 20:58 (fifteen years ago)

RL Burnside used to claim he killed a dude. but, y'know, blues mythology...

assorted curses (Shakey Mo Collier), Monday, 10 January 2011 20:59 (fifteen years ago)

RL Burnside, the blues guy?

oh, I get it: any black musician who commits murder (or any violent crime, really) is automatically elevated to gangsta rapper status, regardless of whether they ever actually rapped. I always forget that little rule. hollaz hollaz @ my Leadbelly, amirite?

i probably busted a nut when i was tossing her cookie salad (unregistered), Monday, 10 January 2011 21:34 (fifteen years ago)

noted gangsta rappers Vince Neil, Burzum, and Keith Moon

assorted curses (Shakey Mo Collier), Monday, 10 January 2011 21:35 (fifteen years ago)

huh? Vince and Keith aren't even black. now I'm all confused.

i probably busted a nut when i was tossing her cookie salad (unregistered), Monday, 10 January 2011 21:39 (fifteen years ago)

i didnt want to start a new thread

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 10 January 2011 21:45 (fifteen years ago)

let's recap: Whiney posted a short list of performers who have been confirmed to have killed somebody, NOT JUST RAPPERS. I suggested two additional people, one of whom I already cited on this thread before, and another who was not cited before because he was not a rapper.

assorted curses (Shakey Mo Collier), Monday, 10 January 2011 21:47 (fifteen years ago)

deejeuner sur l'herb (nakhchivan), Monday, 10 January 2011 21:52 (fifteen years ago)

equating vehicular manslaughter with actual murder is a bit much too imo

some dude, Monday, 10 January 2011 22:40 (fifteen years ago)

i remember some old post where ethan said kind of off-handedly that he believed biggie was a killer -- not that he killed pac but that i guess when he did dirt pre-stardom

some dude, Monday, 10 January 2011 22:42 (fifteen years ago)

J-Dee from Ice Cube's Lench Mob crew did time for murder (and thus did not appear on their second album)

Isn't J-Dee still in jail?

Tuomas, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:09 (fifteen years ago)

Anyway, if we're talking about musicians who killed someone, wasn't there some relatively well known rock drummer who killed his mother? I can't remember the name right now.

Tuomas, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:19 (fifteen years ago)

And of course there's this guy:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sid_vicious

Tuomas, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:21 (fifteen years ago)

Sid was never confirmed as having killed Nancy Spungen (died too soon to get a sentence), but I guess it seems likely he did.

Jimmy Snuka killed a bitch. And he could rap too.

"jobs" (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:39 (fifteen years ago)

Ozzy Osbourne allegedly indirectly killed a kid by writing "Suicide Solution" and causing that kid to commit suicide.

You're Twistin' My Melody Man! (Geir Hongro), Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:46 (fifteen years ago)

Maybe youse should do a "Death Pool" and list 15 rappers, singers, people on wikip. And the person that gets the most murderers by the end of the year, wins.

Mark G, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:50 (fifteen years ago)

The guy from Traffic?

Randy Moss' dog's personal chef (Bill Magill), Tuesday, 11 January 2011 14:24 (fifteen years ago)

Yeah, I think he was the one I was thinking about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Gordon_%28musician%29

Tuomas, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 14:28 (fifteen years ago)

Hmm, I didn't know it, but apparently Jim Gordon was the drummer for Incredible Bongo Band, and he played drums on "Apache".

Tuomas, Tuesday, 11 January 2011 14:37 (fifteen years ago)

^^^^know the ledge
