Dream's work always feels glittery and processed to me but not really "maximalist"; there tends to be the illusion of 'i-could-do-that-myself-with-pro-tools' on his hits. What songs are you referring to?

I'm glad you like it, I was really surprised at how great it is. I don't have much hope for the album tho since stuff like "LOL" and "Brand New" are making the cut..

RichGirl's overrated-ass single hasn't really done anything on the charts yet and I'm guessing if they get to drop their album the sales will make Electrik Red look like Destiny's Child. hadn't even heard of Vistoso Bosses until a few days ago.

looked it up, "24s" peaked at #65 on the r&b charts, "He Ain't With Me Now" hasn't charted in any way and neither have Vistoso Bosses

I like "Delirious" a lot tho. Really sweet in a good way.

"No Games" is getting the hell played out of it here around Philly and I gotta agree with this:

"no games" is awful, hate that quivering simpering voice, so sick of that song. i don't follow dancehall at all but the stuff that crosses over to U.S. radio has definitely gone way downhill from a few years ago.

Yeah, that was massive all across europe and I thought we'd thought about it loads here (at first I thought u were being sarcastic Jordan)

last summer when I was dancing the DJ dropped it in the middle of this set that had been very disco/chi house with bits of like De La Soul and stuff and when this came on everyone went insane, it was kindof great because it had been this ridiculously tasteful set and then this was this dodgy summer hit, but it sat so well and made so much sense with everything else he played (he followed it with Peech boys Don't make me wait iirc)

been hearing the new r kelly/hilson joint on the radio a bit. i think it's kinda good but i don't really buy hilson as some freak sex slave and it's really silly to hear her singing about being a "chocoholic" and shit on a song with the dirtiest and most shameless singer in r&b. they should've had someone else sing.
