She was right about Weinstein, but she also has a history of making things up when it involves people she doesn’t like. A decade ago she accused Grohl of hitting on Francis - who was underage at the time iirc, or just turned 18 - and Francis herself had to deny the claim as gross and suggesting her mother should be banned from twitter.

Generally as a rule of thumb I trust people who come forward with things like this and while I still acknowledge that this indeed could have happened and she was right (but why would she delete and apologise afterwards then?), I take everything she says with a pinch of salt especially if it involves people who she doesn't like.
