I love that Norway show, been watching clips of it for this poll. Lux still sounds great and I have to say he aged surprisingly well. By my calculations he was in his early 60s in that concert.

Glad more people than me voted for "Primitive" and especially "Potentate." Can't believe they never recorded a studio version of that (or any of the other songs on Smell of Female). Always kind of surprising when bands do that.

it's so great as a standalone! note that the CD version has 3 (?) extra tracks

i wonder if a studio version of "Potentate" could ever have competed with the energy of that live version?

I'm sure I had never heard of Charlie Feathers when the Cramps covered "Can't Hardly Stand It," and for that discovery I am eternally grateful.

Thanks, Moka for getting me excited again about a band I honestly don't listen to all that much these days. As I slide farther into middle age I find myself far less likely to put on a song like "Drug Train," let alone "Let's Get Fucked Up," and yet as noted above there was Lux onstage in his 60s rocking and raving. Great band, great poll, and great images!

Garbageman is their leanest manifesto on how to live! My #1. Had no idea it would beat Human Fly, but I figured it would be top ten. Surprised and happy how well this spans their career, even if I didn't vote for anything post 80s. They're a band with just a few iconic numbers, but so much worthwhile stuff.
