some of the production/guitar playing on this record is as lush as anything in her discography... the stretch from "like you don't love me" (great song) thru "moist" is colored by these curlicue guitar lines that kinda snake up like steam from a grate.

If only because the of the last 5 seconds, when the instrumentation of wan balladry is suddenly stripped away, suddenly leaving behind a husk of sexy electro-R&B tension that's evident nowhere else in the track.

“Feedback” is great but I feel that Electrik Red’s “W.F.U” is a superior version of the same idea and I suspect that Janet herself would agree if asked. Also there are like five better songs on Discipline, which I’m not sure anyone would predict without listening to the album.

“Better Days” is lovely and I wish there were more songs like it.

The outro to "Better Days" is pretty jawdropping. (Reminds me of the outro to "Break You Off.")

I like "Feedback" but it's basically a Pussycat Dolls song
