At this point it just makes me sad, he clearly isn't getting the help he needs.

That said, even with my sympathy for his mental health, I also wish the media would stop treating this with any sincerity.

the difference is I think Kanye is capable of doing good things but he's got all the wrong people in his ear. Trump is a pure sociopath who is incapable of doing a nice thing for anyone unless he gets something in return

I don't know how to take the way things are going down right now. I suffer from severe mental illness. I don't like it when people use it as a pretext for disregarding what I'm saying. All that bias, all that stigma, that he's been through all his life. Not being taken seriously because he's black, not being taken seriously because he's bipolar, and what? Some goddamn white lady somewhere who's never listened to a single song of his says she's worried about him, worried that he might not be getting the help he needs?

Kanye deserves better, sure. We all deserve better. I don't think taking Kanye West seriously is really that much different from taking, oh, say, Bari Weiss or Elon Musk seriously. Things are fucked and Kanye isn't the only one having problems. Hell, I'd venture to perhaps suggest that maybe some of the problems Kanye is having aren't really _his_ problems in the first place, they're problems a lot of us have in common.

I can no longer imagine feeling bad for kanye and I've felt that way for some time tbh
