She's been posting snippets of a single called "Something More" this week and it's already my favorite thing she's made since Overpowered.

Róisín Machine is indeed the title and it comes out on September 25th.

Not many new songs but it will nice to have all those singles together.

Narcissus was tightened from 12 minute to 8 minutes for the single release. I'd expect a new mix, if not a whole re-recording, for Simulation eight (!) years after the original

I've always known it's pronounced Ro-sheen but that doesn't stop my stupid brain from reading it as Roy-sin every single time xps

just put on "Murphy's Law" on Sp*t*fy and the original 8-minute track has an "- Extended Mix" added to it when it wasn't there before (in addition to the ~4-minute edit), so my guess is the length of the album version (and the other album tracks) are gonna be somewhere in between those running times

interestingly this version of "jealousy" transitions from the disco mix to the house mix at the end, i wonder if that's what the album edit will be like? the album edit is around 4 minutes

xp though at the same time i've returned to "murphy's law" over and over in lockdown to the point where it's pretty well solidified as one of my top songs of 2020

the first two solo albums are still very good! but no problem assuming this will be on par with those, and it's lovely that she's held onto the Parrot collaboration so long and finally made a single album out of their work.

This album is all Crooked Man joints! Jacuzzi Rollercoaster was one of eight tracks on her Maurice Fulton collab 12"s

it would have been nice if she'd put out an album compiling those 2018 singles but you can just do that yourself at least
