Cannot understand why anyone uses itunes tbh

i've made such a mess of files that i made a mouse shortcut to a very nice program called ...
c:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe
got a kick out of that

(used to have an ipod until it died a few months ago. don't keep music in itunes at all, but all my non-album Underworld is extensively organised by ID3 tags, so tweaking those tags and navigating from compilation to compilation during this fortnight has seen me dump that stuff into the program I otherwise use to transfer podcasts & DJ mixes onto a portable device for one-time listening.)

I might have enough time to listen through Drift Series 1 but I've also listened to "Thing in a Book" four times so far and don't plan to stop

iirc I think they didn't actually write those lyrics, I think Karl asked some writer to do it because of some article he liked about socialism
― frogbs, Saturday, 16 May 2020 03:01 (six years ago)
which is not to say Karl couldn't write some goofy lyrics on his own but they're not quite like that
― frogbs, Saturday, 16 May 2020 03:05 (six years ago)
yeah those parts were written by adtiya chakrabortty (hence the 'aditya' in the title)

voted!
Also, just researching the name of a Freur b-side which is my #76 brought me to the single's sole review on RYM, this is from one of their top reviewers.
Freur were a band I was convinced were going to be huge and, as such, I decided every single would eventually be worth owning. Well I was wrong. They never really forged their own identity. They were definitely different but different for the sake of it.... I suppose I should have realised then that if they were having to repeat the use of old material as fillers they were destined for failure.

The dirties patched up various repaired versions of the show from Snake reposts and partial stereo broadcasts, but I’ve never had enough computer to bother faffing with private trackers
― Bleeqwot (sic), Saturday, 16 May 2020 23:29 (six years ago)
(apparently the OG stream missed a bit of Snake & most of Jumbo)
