That said, a friend of mine once worked in an office where someone who used the restroom in a spectacularly malodorous fashion, at about 12:00 every day. This person was stealthy and was never observed in the act. In fact, there was speculation that the person may not even have worked there, but rather was a worker on an adjacent construction site. He or she became known as "the noon shitter."

It became, as they say, A Thing.

Inevitably "noon shitter" became followed by "wider than a mile..."

xp - ha "Seam ripper" for me, translates to "Sex Shooter" by Appolonia 6 -- "Seam Ripper, ripping seams in my direction!"

and on the Sade topic -- a friend has a dog named Blade. Another friend and I thought it was funny to pronounce the dog's name "Bla-day" (to rhyme with Sade the singer) which spawned dog-themed lyrics to Sade's greatest hits: Smooth Pupperator, Sweetest Dog Food, etc.

This probably doesn't count but I always replace the word 'man' in a song with 'nan' today hilarious effect.

To wit: I'm waiting for my nan.
Nan! I feel like a woman.
Nan on the moon.
Naneater.
Nan in the mirror.

Vanishing Point (Chinaski), Monday, 20 April 2020 16:38 (six years ago)

*to hilarious effect. With hilarious effect? Fucking hell.

Vanishing Point (Chinaski), Monday, 20 April 2020 16:38 (six years ago)

Chinaski I love this and it will become my new hobby.

I'm a NAN, yes I am, and I can't help but love you so
Nannish Boy (spelled N... A, child... N)
I'm a nan and so's Lola

I've been biking around town a lot and finding weird neighborhoods I'd never been in before. Whenever I end up trapped in some subdivision I hear Run's voice from sucker mcs in my head saying 'take that move back it's a cul-de-sac'

aged 7 or 8 i remember my dad singing "all coppers are bastards" to the tune of the line "pop does the weasel" when he didn't know i could hear him -- and then (to my mum's tremendous glee) having to explain to me what it means, why someone would say it, and finally why "bastard" is a bad word that it isn't polite to use

proof of the timelessness of the Beatles' melodies:

Something in the way she poops

and

Lovely Rita Taco Maid
Nothing can come between us

I remember reading somewhere on ILM many years ago, "Lovely Rita Meter Maid two big tittie in an escalade" and to this day I sing that when I hear the song.
