also, thinking about nu emo reminds me of my brother, who heard me play Descendents and the Replacements for him, then got into napster and found about all these pre-2000 emo bands that he went nuts for.Kid Brother Collective out of our hometown of Flint, Appleseed Cast(who get played on the ed schultz show, from time to time, wtf), right in time for the SDRE return.

Oh yeah, and one name that hasn't been mentioned yet, one that's emlematic for the emo return -> BUDDYHEAD.

I know there is this generic commonplace that every band that gets labeled with that term hates it. They feel scandalized by it. id just like to take the time to say fuck any of you who dont like The Crow or the soundtrack.Brandon Lee poured his heart and sould into that movie, and then died before it was even released. Have more respect for the man than that and dont put down his movie or the soundtrack to his movie. Besides that there was only maybe 2 bad songs on the entire cd. Get better taste in music and you all will realize that.
