No-one wants to veto the suggestion? triggercut? Okay, how does a rollout around the Monday March 9rd sound? (~3 weeks.) I'm guessing that would be well after the metal poll. I'll create a thread shortly if there's still no objections. (A thread with regular reminders to vote in the metal poll as first priority. LOL, I really want to see a Venn diagram now.)

Metal poll rollout will be next week unless disaster befalls seandalai so no reason why you guys cant start a poll as soon as its done.

i think shoegaze is a good one to do this year, as it will mark the 10 year anniversary of Moka's tracks poll. i won't redo tracks fully but have an idea for a side poll with those results.

anyways, i think it's time for a new poll as the Metal poll is almost over and we can open a new poll as those results finish.

I've been ready for some weeks with Prefab Sprout. Can start literally immediately if there are (still) no naysayers.

^ Maybe a slightly 'niche' artist but I never can tell with ILM. Anyway, that's why I offered to get it done soon and efficiently, while others decide on follow-up polls.

Ten years. Oh my god. I think I suggested back then that we should do another poll, but for albums/EPs instead of tracks - I can't remember if that's what this poll is supposed to be.

Yes, you can see on the above list that it will be for Albums/EPs this summer hopefully. i will do some sort of side poll with the tracks results that we got from Moka's part.

So, is anyone close to ready for the next one? I'll hopefully have rolled out the Prefab poll by the end of next week.

I could push Underworld out if nobody on the queue wants to leap into action.

Heh I think the shoegaze poll was one of my first polls so there’s no images, some of the winners don’t really qualify as shoegaze (not my fault! That’s on voters) and I broke the usual tie system into a weird one, I’m sure there’s plenty of mistakes too.

I'm now more inclined to think that nobody will be able to concentrate hard enough to even tell a 1994 b-side from a 2019 remix, but the results rollout would make for good decision-free listening.
