It's kinda annoying that there is no way to get hold of the Fragile Deviations 1 digitally without buying a $80 vinyl version.

on the other hand, trent reznor is very aware of torrents, etc. and priced the only release at $80

i only have one other a capella to work with unfortunately: the beginning of the end. that’s work in progress but it’s in more of an ebm/industrial vein

wonder if the instrumental release of the fragile is close enough to the one with vocals to extract out the vocal track

I might be able to get the vocal stems from Year Zero, I think I have that disc floating around somewhere

i will check out the fragile. some instrumental releases are subtly timestretched to make center channel cancellation fail.

Locusts definitely more stressful and abrasive on a cursory listen. I turned it off after a few tracks, not in the headspace.

Listened to all of Together, on the other hand. Nice and moody, but I doubt I'll ever go back to it.

windows 10's support works ok as long as it's not a zip with a ton of files or high compression -- so, good enough for 90% of cases

i love the og ghosts but these volumes are far more fleshed out and their own thing

Together was kinda wallpaper-y to me but maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. Haven't made it all the way through Locusts yet.

Locusts sounds a lot more soothing than Together to me (also agree it's one of the best things he's done). One of the tracks on Together has this really high frequency tone overlaid on top that's bad enough that I have to skip it.
