Great dancehall noms rob.

I decided not to nominate some of my absolute favourites of the era on the grounds that basically no one will know them (e.g. Chico's "Thick & Thin", Assassin's "Want To Be Free" which may as well not exist as far as the internet is concerned).

I don't think "Faded" counts - I was planning to nominate it but Wiki says it was a 1999 release. I'll absolutely vote for it if we consider it eligible

It was released in Canada in 1999 and everywhere else in 2000.

And it was on an album, that even in Canada wasn't released till Febraury 2000. I would say it's close enough to count.

I certainly think of it as an 00's song so I'm all for it

wiki says the album came out three days before Y2K, and the single was released April 2000, which would make it more 00s.

I have a distinct memory of it playing at a summer barbecue in 2003 too lol.
