This sounds like the theme song to an early 90s "heartland" sitcom. If this is the best country music can do, burn the genre to the ground and start over.

It’s a terrific song; I knew I’d be buying the album as soon as I heard the chorus.

I haven't listened to the highwomen album but that song is indeed not good -- I still can't believe someone recorded a cute pun on "Designing Women" in 2019 and claimed it was new and fresh

(and "designing women" was already a play on words, too)

I avoided this because my complete non-appreciation for most country music is well-known by this point and probably tired, but not nearly as tired as this song. It sounds like something characters on Glee would write as part of a special country-themed episode.
