The Amen Dunes record is the only one of his I've liked. The playing is tight.

low were definitely the most unexpected longtime act over the last few years to have a sudden critical resurgence like that but double negative is also the best of any of those albums

1975 seems like the safest bet. They got the most total points in the tracks.

ariana will do well enough but was pretty polarising here and i'd hope she doesn't do better than she did with dangerous woman which remains underrated

I'm more interested in finding out about good albums I haven't heard so the 77-60 range is where that's going to happen. Not that arsed which order the big albums come in.

The new Courtney Barnett was pretty but a bit of a letdown, more morose and less witty than her previous work

I want to like her more than I do. She's clearly had a big influence on the current class of indie favorites, but I just find her music kind of dull.

Listening to this for first time now. Not terrible, but the She Makes War album scratched this particular itch for me last year.

Courtney Barnett seems to be getting less interesting with each album. I still think the Double EP collection has much more charm than anything else she's done.
