I don't see them having two songs still to come, yet at the same time it would be odd if Give Yourself A Try was the second most popular song from the album.

Yeah, I would like this but for the central pun(s?) of the chorus - it's too distracting.

Just to backtrack for a second, 'hollowness' and 'ennui' are the last words I'd use to describe Astral Weeks (except for 'Slim Slow Slider', maybe). VM's possessed utterances have nothing in common with LDR's smooth nihilism. Unless it was meant as a commentary on millennial disaffection, which may or may not be an actual thing.
