Royal Trux : Classic or Dud ?

I don't have a problem with that tbh

Haven’t listened to the new track yet; but I wouldn’t be surprised if Neil had less involvement in this LP than he did in, like, the first Weird War album.

If that is the case, I only have a problem with it inasmuch as it's being labeled a Royal Trux album. Like I'd be cool if they each guested on the other's albums but don't tease.

The new song kinda sounds like Trux-pastiche (like the other two). And the "coke mirror" aesthetic... I dunno.

Big Trux fan here. Got my pre-order goin. Y'all are right about Jen runnin the show.
I get the vibe Neil has custody of Live Trux and Jennifer has the studio end of it.
Jen was getting blasted drunk thru the last tour.
Really hope there's some Neil songwriting intelligence on the new LP

Maybe I'm bad at googling today, but I can't find anything about a tour cancellation or what happened.

this was posted on the Facebook Event page for the Philly show

"Due to some unresolved issues arising from a past arrest, Royal Trux will be rescheduling their North American Tour. Jennifer is incredibly grateful that she will not be spending any time in jail, and in her own words, states: "Shit could definitely be worse.”

She regrets that her inconvenience may affect the fans' and ticket buyers but is looking forward to the shows being rescheduled for later this Spring.

New dates will be announced shortly, tickets purchased in advance will be honored for the new dates."

It really is, I wish I was more excited about the new album, tbh. Nothing has really jumped out at me yet, it all def seems more fitting for Black Bananas or whatever.

i know it's real because i have done 3 records in 18 months for 3 different entities w/ 3 different groups & all either did not come out &/or were redone and i got paid in $$, identity theft & calumny-- such is the life of a natural heel, it's everything i'd hoped it could be

everyone probably loved Accelerator because 'Liar' has the greatest riff ever.

"Mouth Breather" sounds like the "Dancing Days" riff, transmitted into 1990 Chicago via a scuzz-rock fax machine (this is not a value judgment, btw)

I've been seeing promos of "White Stuff" all over social media for the past three weeks but I finally listened to the full song just now, and it don't sound bad to me at all
