It was a one time watch over 15 years ago; I remember it being Stone, but I'm honestly not sure. Might be a false part of the memory, might by Ament. Mostly I remember the song.

My playing is either second generation via Jimmy Page ripping off black artists, or it's rap grooves that are sampled from the '70's and '60's.

did you know that in the early 90s, Stone Gossard ran a small record label called Loose Groove (or Loosegrooves) that had a rap band on it called "Prose and Concepts"? I don't have time to look into them atm, but thought maybe this will help your search.

do you think you were imagining/misremembering the part about Stone Gossard? I don't see any evidence that there was a video for this song or a Pearl Jam connection. what an awesome lost & found story though.

it could be in my head! I don't think there WAS a video; my hazy memory was watching this in high school (which is wrong, since this came out in 99 and i woulda been a college dropout by then so that's even weirder) on some sort of a live show with stone gossard sitting in with a rap group for a hotlanta style performance on MTV
