A modern example courtesy of a Ned retweet:
Sorry, dude, but this was a very bad idea and it is going to rebound on you in a really ugly way. (Especially since your album is coming out in November.) If there's still time to scrap this title and cover, DO IT. pic.twitter.com/mjliBcafst— burning ambulance (listen to the podcast!) (@burn_amb) August 20, 2018

I enjoy seeing these old albums (and I’m grateful they’re posted here); but sometimes I get the sense from these threads that this is ILM’s platonic ideal of an album cover & title:https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ae/Xx_album_cover.svg/1280px-Xx_album_cover.svg.png

https://www.discogs.com/Bill-The-Bills-Bills-Bills-Bills/release/3338706
...it's a Canadian release. Is it the selection bias of my ignorance or might Canada have produced a higher proportion of these sorts records?
― saddest kamancheh (bendy), Friday, 24 August 2018 16:20 (seven years ago)
Simple explanation is that Canada is the only country where the creation of these sorts of albums were subsidised by the government.

"Killing Me Softly With His Song"Peter Afendoulis
I know that song was written for Don McLean, but it should have been written for Harry Chapin. I was "introduced" to Harry’s music when I was a wannabe Folk Singer in the late Seventies. I was having a bit of success, having written a few songs that proved to be popular, but I was always looking for new songs to sing. A friend loaned me a copy of "Greatest Stories Live" and that was it! He was telling me my life story - and it changed my whole outlook on life.
Because I was traveling around a lot and in the wrong place at the wrong time, I never got to see him live until Newcastle City Hall (The last (mainland UK gig) on his 1980 Tour. He and the Band did 45 minute first set, after which Harry spent another 45 minutes in the Foyer signing programmes (He signed mine!), T-shirts, albums and stuff, and then a 90 minute second spot (of which Harry did about 30 minutes solo).
