that song is so jimmy eat world

they don't seem to get nearly as much chatter as a lot of bands in this world, but i think that last Basement album is damn near perfect.

I keep going back to the Mom Jeans record - a much more creative and diverse variant on a lot of superficially similar records I've heard this year

I miss The Starting Line every day (even if they're back together) and that Real Friends song has killed me

Catching up on everything itt since the end of March and I am having the best time! Other highlights so far: Hopesfall, Charmer and Oso Oso (I like my emo as unambiguous as possible).

That new Ostraca EP is sounding wonderful too. They were high up my metal ballot last year and I expect will be on there again.

got around to listening to the recent Senses Fail album. not bad.
any recommendations of something with that sort of guitar work and melody, but minus the screamo?

Brad, et al: Last night I listened to an album, Communication Breaks by Track Star, which I adored back in the day but had forgotten about for over a decade, and it rocked me. But judging by its YT views, it's all but forgotten by everyone. Track Star was Wyatt from Aislers Set and a friend. It's punky emo-y stuff with embittered lyrics (that also manage to be witty and winsome) and an awesome warbly piano-y guitar tone (on the lead guitar) that i love. Overall reminds me of (unsurprisingly) Henry's Dress but less outright punk. I'd like to know what you guys think. From 1999 I think. (Sorry if this thread is just supposed to be new stuff. Is it??)
