they are going on stage in about an hour and i'm not there! truth be told, Saturday Night would be so much better.

niels - they are amazing live!

saw them on DC-TYLS tour. Highlights were anything from Bloom, beyond love and elegy to the void wherein victoria and the dude ripped the solos together! i think victoria was doing the feedback. they also played a special show for 100 a pop or so at an art gallery and played the majority of the last two records primarily to an audience in close proximity. I would see them every time they tour

good stuff, may catch them in october

I saw them on the Bloom tour, great show, the band sounded ace and the set design was very cool as well. Unfortunately they had to cut the set short because of an approaching thunderstorm, so I didn't get to hear the finale of "10 Mile Stereo">"Irene".

i see them every time they play dublin and am seeing them again in october. absolutely wonderful live band.

they are such a LOUD and tight live act!

Saw them a few years back at the Fillmore and it was a massive, impeccable, and gorgeous set. Think it lasted more than 2 hours and it was simply amazing. I bet they're even better now and wish I could have found tickets

It sold out the first time around so it has finally arrived at my home on vinyl. Will be playing it tonight for the first time in weeks.

honestly 7 perfectly honed in on the best parts of DC and TYLS and brought them wide-screen - their best since Bloom

I think they’re a singles band

i feel empty inside because i assumed it would be a grower for me but it doesn't seem to be growing. however, i initially felt the same about depresso cherry and thank your lucky starz, and then after revisiting them long after release i eventually grew to love them. so maybe i'll just wait a year or two.

It's the same ebb and flow for me and Beach House were I will intensely love an album for a short period of time, not care about it for several months, see years, and go back it and love it even more.

Sparks was so good when it came out ; DC didn’t get any better than that

levitation is probably the best dream pop song of all time so it does get a bit better

One of the most straight-up rock songs they've done.

I saw Beach House and My Bloody Valentine at the same venue, within a month of each other, this year. Both were loud, dreamy, and had spectacularly colorful animated projections. With this song, Beach House have more or less turned into MBV. So I want them to form a supergroup now, even though both groups seem sort of insular and might just cancel each other out.
