even as a confirmed McCartney hater I could not deny that track

Imagine « Imagine » getting 101dIt’s easy if you try
― droit au butt (Euler), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:22 (eight years ago)
a great tie coming up

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:29 (eight years ago)
"cold turkey" is a song i don't love but i respect what it's doing
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:30 (eight years ago)
liking the 20's so far
― sleeve, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:31 (eight years ago)
"Why" was my #1. Glad to see it beat out "Uncle Albert."
― Montgomery Burns' Jazz (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:31 (eight years ago)
from here on out people may quibble about placements, but I don't think anyone's really going to argue about the overall remarkably high quality of the songs
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:33 (eight years ago)
can't believe Imagine placed so low. I think my #3. of all the POB songs, Love too low - it is one of his most beautiful songs.
Isolation obv also amazing. Trailer for the new Gus Van Sant movie uses Isolation throughout, nice surprise & sounded great blasting in a big theater.
happy that Junk will place higher than I expected.
― flappy bird, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:34 (eight years ago)
so psyched for the top 25
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:37 (eight years ago)
I don't think this should surprise anybody but Lennon's POB and Harrisone's ATMP were the only albums in this poll for which every track received votes.
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:37 (eight years ago)
i'm a little surprised ppl voted for "my mummy's dead" but more power to 'em
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:39 (eight years ago)
we got some fans of the apple jam too, apparently
― 808s & Deep States (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:39 (eight years ago)
Ram came close except apparently nobody could bring themselves to vote for "3 Legs" or "Ram On (reprise)"
I take this as solid evidence that McCartney never recorded a front-to-back great album.
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:40 (eight years ago)
xp hey there were 100 spots, I threw in the Two Virgins tracks at the end there. plenty of room for frivolous "what the hell" votes
― sleeve, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:40 (eight years ago)
man "3 legs" is good just not top 100 good
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:41 (eight years ago)
lmao oh god no one voted for the second version of "ram"! must be a dud
I voted for My Mummy’s Dead, drops me every time
― droit au butt (Euler), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:42 (eight years ago)
that's awesome!
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:42 (eight years ago)

― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:43 (eight years ago)
absolutely devastatingly gorgeous song, my #4
some great bass chords in that song
― flappy bird, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:44 (eight years ago)

ahhh yes. VICIOUS
― flappy bird, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:45 (eight years ago)
AWWW
wasn't being sarcastic before, i fucking love ringo's drumming on "hold on"
― 808s & Deep States (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:45 (eight years ago)
I love John's guitar on this album.
― morning wood truancy (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:45 (eight years ago)
def feel this is too low, but I couldn't put it at my number 1 since I had to make room for Imagine (granted this would have only bumped it up a couple spots but still)
23. Awaiting On You All - George Harrison (feat. George, Ringo) (1069 points, 14 votes)https://sep.yimg.com/ay/yhst-73969762682587/george-harrison-cd-awaiting-on-you-all-25.gif
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:47 (eight years ago)
John, Klaus, and Ringo is such a killer rock trio xp
― flappy bird, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:47 (eight years ago)
wtf at these lyrics
And while the Pope owns fifty one percent of General MotorsAnd the stock exchange is the only thing he's qualified to quote us
― morning wood truancy (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:47 (eight years ago)
in which George is both spiritually generous *and* sneeringly bitchy at the same time!
xp
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:48 (eight years ago)
certainly the sprightliest song about Krishna in pop history
― morning wood truancy (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:48 (eight years ago)
I love that line, even if it has zero basis in fact
"awaiting on you all" was my no. 1 for a long time, eventually demoted to no. 2, pretty sure no upcoming song is better than this one except for...
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:48 (eight years ago)
Those last two John songs are both amazing. Really love the whole 'there in the room' sound/feel of POB.
― Gavin, Leeds, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:49 (eight years ago)
22. Walking on Thin Ice - Yoko Ono (feat. John) (1073 points, 15 votes, 1 No. 1 vote))https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f4/Yoko_Ono_Walking-Single-1981.jpg/220px-Yoko_Ono_Walking-Single-1981.jpg
― Οὖτις, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:50 (eight years ago)
hey it's my no. 1
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:51 (eight years ago)
i mean it's obv an incredible yoko song, but john's guitar
genius
― 808s & Deep States (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:51 (eight years ago)
this is also why i think it was great to open up the poll to anything a beatle played on
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:52 (eight years ago)
btw all of the versions of "walking on thin ice" on spotify are modern remixes, so it'll be missing from the playlist
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:54 (eight years ago)

sleeve image always makes me think of Shel Silverstein for some reason, just the way her face is growing out of his head
unsurprised this is the only track from mind games to place
― flamenco blorf (BradNelson), Tuesday, 5 June 2018 17:56 (eight years ago)
that's cool, never seen the 45 pic sleeve
