Sent. It's been over 40 years since I've willingly listened to any of the Postfabs as much as I did in the past week. In the end only 14 out of 100 songs on my ballot were released after 1979.

if i want to make a list of my top 20 can i do that? how does the point allocation go in that case?

i nearly made an albums list anyway but if anything it’s even harder to rank

ugh flagging ate my post but: gonna try my best to get home in time to make a ballot today, and I just threw a last dozen tracks onto the playlist, moooostly stuff that's gotten at least partway namechecked here (e.g. second-tier-but-basically-liked-em cuts from my ringo marathon), plus a couple of big ticket items (Mother, original Maybe I'm Amazed). shockingly not on Spotify: Girls' School, and any of the FitD-era b-sides (Loveliest Thing!!).

just realized i didn't include "maybe i'm amazed" at all, whoops. i like it enough to include it near the bottom of my ballot, but in general it's my least favorite popular solo paul song

maybe I'm amazed is awesome. I don't think there's anything corny about the song - it's probably McC being his most authentic self.
