You know exactly what I mean, so stop being stupid. It went viral because the song and the video are cliched to the point of ridiculousness, from it's non-more-stock chord progression to the consciously dumb lyric sung by someone who blatantly can't sing.

My kids still play this song on the regular, and totally acknowledge that even though they play it ironically, they don't mind listening to it, and an ironic hit is still a hit.

Like, literally this morning, one of my kids sang the song to me but changed all the references to Friday to "birthday.'

I should say they've also been playing a lot of the Black Eyed Peas "I've Got a Feeling," but that is pure irony, because it baffles them how terrible it is.
