Further to the above, I preferred the Uneven Paths comp too but pretty much everything that label puts out is quality.

i was uber happy the Frank Harris and Maria Marquez comp came out. I have been searching for more of their music since I fell in love with Canto Del Pilon when it was included on a Ralph Records comp in 1987. It only took 32 years!

While we're talking about Stroom I'd like to say that their Kyoto/Zoe Sinatra split 12" is just about perfect and probably my single of the year so far, even if both of the tracks are from the 80s.

It seems to be a father singing about a teenage daughter he can't communicate with and their relationship has broken down so much that she's leaving home and he feels regret. I admit that it's a strange subject matter for a song. I'd never really thought about it before you asked.
