"Friend Lover" is amazing, I almost convince myself it's a totally new kind of song.

moreover - and no offence to electrik red, i guess - but said duet wouldve pwned the world in a way this never will.

same goes for most of the album actually (like, 'on point' so kelis it's dumb). like i was starting to say about richgirl, whatever the weird serendipity it is a nowadays girlgroup needs in order to embed itself in the modern popular consciousness i don't think these girls have captured, even though they themselves seem quite fun and the songs are good and efficient - it's not their fault particularly.

I don't think the girls are great at carrying the wispier moments (though often those songs sound amazing). I probably should listen more before passing judgment though.

i'm liking the ER album altho it's not standing out for me much more than the last Danity Kane LP other than being sassier/naughtier/whatever

i feel like it gets more dirty AND more playful than DK, like 80s electro playful, which is really making my week

Yeah, I think the playfulness is key to why they aren't so dead-ass boring as a group like DK. Personality helps.
