Man, it's brutal for me trying to pick even a top twenty. Liked a ton of stuff, didn't really obsess over anything this year.

There was no email for you given in the ilx mail you sent, but the answer to your question is "Creating the nominations list is an imperfect exercise, and I'm sorry if I missed a nom of yours. You can still vote it as a write-in, but adding it to the main list 50% of the way through the voting period wouldn't help matters. People have already submitted ballots."

Ah fuck I was super busy and I didn't get to nominate songs like XX - Replica or Migos - Stir Fry which I thought would be nominated for sure. Ok I'll work with what we have.

^it was also surprising to me that The XX - On Hold and Migos - Bad and Boujee weren't nominated

Everything is Recorded - close but not quite and Mustn't Hurry by Fever Ray are also not there :S should have nominated.

I've been sitting on my albums list for a week, can't quite let it go, and can't quite get started on tracks.

a bit of discussion about this upthread i realise but is it possible to re-submit a ballot?

the mount eerie record is making the whole ranking process feel especially gauche and inadequate. having a mixed list with 24 ranked and it on the end is the same as just putting it at 25, right?

The midnight EST cutoff is official, but whenever seandalai gets out of bed on Saturday morning is the unofficially official cutoff. I imagine he'll post again at that point.

I just want to register my disappointment, though - and I know this is my fault for not nominating - that Logic's 1-800-273-8255 and Migos' Bad and Boujee were not choices on the tracks poll. Horrible oversight IMO.

voted just night but just realised that i copied my album votes from a personal list and not the proper noms list (had meant to fix that but forgot). i think that most things should match but there may be a couple of things that don't exactly match. sorry, was totally my fault - happy to email a corrected version. my tracks ballot should be fine though

Phew, I managed to get a ballot in just a few hours before it stopped :) Then I fell asleep again.

I noticed that The Clientele - Music From The Age Of Miracles is named incorrectly on the album list (because of me getting the name wrong when I nominated it). I'm not sure it's going to be an issue really, but just in case it does place, it should be Music For The Age Of Miracles.

I didn't get a confirmation email, although admittedly I did vote in the grey zone between JF's close and Seandalai's close. No dice?

I didn't get a confirmation either. I didn't even realize how close to the deadline I was voting last night. I've been putting it off because I liked so many albums from this year (a bunch only discovered in the last few weeks). Wasn't happy with my tracks ballot but I was avoiding voting for any from albums I voted for.

the system doesn't send out confirmation emails - I do keep an eye on this thread to make sure everyone who says they voted did get their ballot through
