Out in a economically depressed industrial town, best known for its latter day synthpop (no, not that town) an old 2LS record appeared without a listening booth or reliable phone reception. A decent gamble.

luke slater always dope but especially his planetary assault systems stuff

angel street definitely a highlight of that comp

for my money the real dope is archives 1 - it's got "gated", "booster" and "starway ritual"

imo he totally lost the magic after "modus operandi"

I saw it was reissued once I realized what it was. I've heard it different times in different contexts but none that I can place specifically. Not so keen on the other side! its ok but not in same league!

I figure with people like that when they put out a ton of stuff it doesn't really matter some of it isn't very good! I don't have to own or like all of their records.

Its like being a striker, if they have a bad game all is forgiven when they score a goal! I agree though he has a lot of bad records, but I don't mind as there are great ones in there too
