i like that the scary part doesn't fade out and just gets scarier; the remaining improvisation flowing into van's "glory be to him" is really strange but great imo

it's prob my favorite song on astral weeks at this point though it def did battle with "sweet thing" on my ballot. for years i didn't know what to make of it
