best "rock" (or whatever) couplet ever

Man, every couplet or not-couplet by THE ARCANA I read, I think, wow, that's definitely the best rock (or whatever) couplet ever, but then I see the next one and I think, no, that last couplet(?) was horrific meaningless shit compared to this one, the true best rock (or whatever) couplet ever.

Just opened the thread for the first time to post this very couplet. Well done.

In high school I was a punching bag
When I got out I was a punching fag

Holding up the trousers with extension cords

Net curtains blow slightly in the breeze.

Not even the best misfits couplet but i woke up thinking about it

Also it doesnt rhyme

There must be a dozen of them in "Every Picture Tells a Story." I'll go with "She took me up on deck and bit my neck/Oh, people I was glad I found her."
