strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:36 (nineteen years ago)

Mr. Que, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:38 (nineteen years ago)

wierd, the first half of this thread w/ all the ost's is like PANEFUL FAMILIARITY, but the post-hc to arena-emo stuff is totally incomprehensible to be. my middlebrow self has been totally leapfrogged!

gff, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:40 (nineteen years ago)

READ THE CHART, MAN

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:42 (nineteen years ago)

WHITE BELTS AND ROMULAN HAIRCUTS ARE DESTROYING HARDCORE

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:48 (nineteen years ago)

I just read as far as someone dissing the Romeo + Juliet OST. That was enough. Seriously, that album is CLASSIC!

o-ess, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:48 (nineteen years ago)

Ha - San Diego burped up Jehu AND STP!

David R., Friday, 27 April 2007 20:49 (nineteen years ago)

David R., Friday, 27 April 2007 20:51 (nineteen years ago)

gff, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:52 (nineteen years ago)

just like the classic rock tree

Mr. Que, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:52 (nineteen years ago)

CENTRALIZED NODES

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:53 (nineteen years ago)

it's like one of those "rhizomatic scenes" simon reynolds loves so much

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:53 (nineteen years ago)

Nu emo made me feel like I was getting old and out of touch with the white teenagers of America only a couple years out of highschool but then I got cable and left the Fuse channel on in the background all the time because I like music videos. Now I feel like I am far enough removed from the grave to watch the VMAs without too much shame again but the tradeoff is that I can name multiple 30 Seconds to Mars songs.

A B C, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:53 (nineteen years ago)

Also this thread makes me want to retrieve my shrinkwrapped copy of the Batman Forever soundtrack from my parents' house

that song soundtracked the happiest summer of my life

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:54 (nineteen years ago)

Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Mr. Que, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

i heeded none of its warnings, however

strongohulkington, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

Jared Leto getting maimed by David Fincher RIP ;_;

David R., Friday, 27 April 2007 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Mr. Que, Friday, 27 April 2007 20:56 (nineteen years ago)

I still have to live in NYC for a year.

TS: Romeo + Juliet OST vs. Maxinquaye

da croupier, Friday, 27 April 2007 21:02 (nineteen years ago)

It upsets me that I graduated middle school in 1999 but my school was so far behind on graduation songs of the day that they would not get it together enough to play "Good Riddance" until the next year, let alone "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)"

A B C, Friday, 27 April 2007 21:03 (nineteen years ago)

we're talking about emo now
