anyone know what's going on with Windsurf? they said in the fader that they are putting out an album this year but there is nothing really on their myspace (one new song that is awesome of course). they're probably my favorite new balearic band besides studio.

Parlour sound very promising, although hard to pin down. "Amor" is like a cross between Studio and A Mountain of One - melodramatic widescreen balearic prog-MOR. "Capriccio" is bloated beardo-italodisco-rock. "Theme" is ridiculous afro-disco-pop that's a bit Boney M.

True to form, Studio, A Mountain of One, Richard Norris and Permanent Vacation are all friends with them.

naturally, i'd love to agree given that i have had a few emails over the last couple of years from people thinking i'm the man behind these tracks, but to be honest, i aint feeling this stuff.

"the long way home" sounds like a straight rip of michael shrieve's "transfer station blue." title track is sort of a jarre/e2-e4 thing. great for summer nights.
