one of my current students is regarded as one of the best beatboxers in the world. i nor any of his classmates had any idea until he told us last week. i would never listen to this stuff actively but i admit that he's pretty talented at this very annoying thing lol.

Haha, nice. Gotta say I enjoyed this podcast episode about a deceased beat boxer, particularly how much it makes fun of Bonobo (even though he apparently didn't sample the video in question).

As far as annoying things go, where does beatboxing sit relative to juggling? You have to be talented to be good at either one, but I find it really annoying when some guy (and it's always a guy) grabs a bunch of apples, or clementines or whatever, at a party and goes all Barnum and Bailey. (I've never encountered a good beatboxer in the wild. I guess I'd be worried about getting spit on.)
