my favorite prog metal tends to be the stuff that avoids the trappings of power metal / symphonic metal. not that i don't like the latter but it feels too obvious a lot of the time

Another good band with a sketchy past. Was much easier when those types just made shitey music.

Drudkh are cool. Nokturnal Mortum bring more to the party but they do a great job evoking the woodland and the racial purity of Ukraine

Drudkh do not have any nazi themed lyrics as far as im aware. If they say they arent racist etc then you need to give them the benefit of the doubt.
