This is such a great album.

Best live band. This album captures their spirit nicely - maybe better than any of their other albums

I've always wanted to see them live, but I havent done it yet. I made plans the last time, when they were touring with Melvins and Napalm Death, but they kinda fell through.

Trying to keep up with all the new stuff. Enjoying the Shape of Despair record.
If someone (imago!) could keep recommending a single track from each album that appears, that would be great. I'll pitch in where I can.

Wasn't expecting to have to defend The Mars Volta so much! FTM was my #2. I love them unreservedly. Such energy and ingenuity! Space and prog and fragmented identity...and way too much of all of it. For me it is the perfect recipe.

Going back a bit, I'm an early-Tool obsessive but never got anywhere with 10,000 Days. I've got the CD edition with the daft goggles, too.

Intrigued by Psychic Paramount, sounds like it might be up my street.
