this last few weeks has seen a pretty big revival of the swagger bands. 2 of them (both already mentioned?) Catfish and Blossoms have each had a number 1 album in the UK. Blossoms are still number 1 now. suddenly the mix of Roses and whoever is popular again. I'd never have thought it possible even a year ago.

I saw a poster for cabbage when I was home on glasgow a couple of weeks ago and a) immediately thought of this thread and b) could almost not believe what i was seeing due to how terrible the photo and how awful the name

But what are they actually like? Gang of Four? Flowered Up? Ocean Colour Scene? Or wot?

Based in Halifax the band play country wide and are heavily influenced by bands such as Stones, The Who and Oasis. Plenty of original material as well.
