I actually don't mind AIDS Wolf, cuz it seems kind of goofy and harmless
also: Wavves or Wavvves or whatever the fuck it is. every time I see it written my brain turns off my and my fingers instinctively ctrl-W.

Any act whose artist name starts with "MC"
If this doesn't prompt a Marcello comeback it'll have to be that woman off Britain's Got Talent.

I kind of like "Fuck Buttons." It sounds like it should be a spoonerism of something harmless, and you despoonerize it and it turns into "Butt Fuckins."

Fuck Buttons and Holy Fuck are both good but would be more likeable with less earnest names. The Slugfuckers and The Fuck Fucks are not necessarily good but the names are amusing. Fucked Up are lame and the name is terrible.

Context counts for a lot. I wouldn't normally cross the street to see a band called The Diarrhea of Anne Frank, but I was willing to give them a shot since they were opening for the Jesus Lizard.

I should also add that Fucked Up were awesome when I saw them live.... record kinda failed to capture the visceral experience of a huge man throwing himself at you to some tunes that could have been The Dicks in their heyday.
― The Sunburned Hand of Manfredd Man (Rombald), Friday, 17 April 2009 20:51 (seventeen years ago)
I really hope there is a messageboard for real ale enthusiasts w/ a thread about beers they were put off drinking because of the stupid name

Back in the days of IDM there was an unsigned artist on a record label I sort of ran, who called himself Cell but also ran under a range of pseudonyms including Cel, Sell, Sel etc. but I also remember him using o_O on some of his tracks, which is where I first saw that flavour smiley. His stuff was really good and I remember Aphex Twin being interested in signing him to Rephlex but Cell didn't believe it was really RDJ and told him to fuck off.
