Australian top-5-charting, self-released pop group Sneaky S0und Sy5tem have evidently been touring the UK, and their showpony frontman wrote a tour diary for the weekly clubber's newspaper back home in Sydney:

really really liking the florence & machine remix but i don't dj with vinyl and can't find an mp3 of it - says here that "Optimo take on one of the hottest bands around - florence & the machine. supplying two remixes which will never be released on any other format" booooo. twitch, if you're around, check your myspace!

that feature is odd as i met those guys on the night and they seemed to know what the club was. they were telling me they have been doing a sunday night club in sydney for ten years. is that right?

also, i should point out, we have lots of lights. in fact, we are ALL about the lights. i guess he was going for dramatic effect there.

would love to see footage or photos of the optimo lights btw, or even a description of them. saying optimo is 'ALL about the lights' has piqued my interest!

have replied - i think there was some confusion as a few people check and reply to the myspace messages. it perhaps isn't "all about the lights" but we have some custom made light boxes and neon signs. i don't have any photos to hand i'm afraid.

OK, so about 1:44:00 into Optimo's incredible Essential Mix, they drop this jaw-dropping remix of "Hallogallo", labeled as the "Mary Hill Rework". I have been searching for this thing for well over a year and a half, and the only other mention I can find of it is on http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/5956. Has anyone ever come across this before?? Was it rereleased under a different moniker/title/etc? I would kind of sell my kidney to get a hold of this...

P.S. stirmonster I saw you at the Barbary in Philly back in January (and shook your hand and told you how much I loved "How to Kill the DJ, part 2") and it was one of the greatest things my friend and I ever saw. Do you remember the show well? How was it in relation to a typical night at Optimo?
