The Junos are notoriously dreadful (see Nickelback's "Album of the Year" award for Dark Horse, and I hope aren't taken to speak for the people of Canada.

Walk Off the Earth makes me wish J.D. Considine's Short Takes was still around so he could write something like, "Good idea."

The issue with the Juno moms is that this album doesn't meet the CRTC definition of being "Canadian". She is of course but the principle writers, producers and recording locations are not Canadian.

I could be wrong, but I believe that for Polaris just the artist has to be Canadian. Tbh I am just guessing why it was omitted.
