A credit card company has sued singer Courtney Love, claiming she owes more than $350,000 (£220,000).In court papers filed in Los Angeles, American Express said it had suspended Love's Amex Gold card after she "failed and refused" to make payments.
Lawyers for Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, were not available for comment.
In March, the 44-year-old Hole singer was sued by a fashion designer over messages she posted on the internet.
American Express is seeking $352,059.67 for the unpaid balance, as well as damages and lawyer's fees.
'Emotional distress'
In court papers filed earlier this year, also in Los Angeles, fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir said Love made several "menacing and disturbing" statements about her on the singer's Twitter and MySpace pages.
The legal action accuses Love of libel, invasion of privacy, interfering with Ms Simorangkir's business, causing emotional distress and breach of contract, according to Reuters.
Ms Simorangkir is seeking damages, with the amount to be set at trial.
