their album art and branding is on some dopey middle-aged creative trash fit so i just havent listened to much of the stuff they put out. im listening to the project pablo release rn and its pretty good

admittedly its a stupid reason not to listen to stuff but theres already so much music and it was really off-putting

only half of the mixes on Mixed Up (just five on CD!) were previously released. The Walk and A Forest were completely new recordings,as Polygram had lost the master tapes. (This is why Smith later recorded a new version with Blank & Jones, too - they'd just sought permission to do a remix for their '80s series.)

The No Zu album is really great in a Gang Gang Dance meets Jungle Wonz kinda way. I'm very pleased that "Raw Vision" (the only track I knew previously) is the most conservative / retro-familiar tune here.
