I love this record. Definitely one of my favorite mainstream rock albums of the decade.

Jeremy Davis is out. I'll be honest - my first thought was "more motivation and inspiration for new material". In a way I can't wait to see what sort of creative sparks fly in the aftermath... but anyway, he was not central to the songwriting, that's Williams and York.

Paramore and former bassist Jeremy Davis are locked in a legal dispute over whether Davis was an employee for the Nashville pop-rock band or a partner in the underlying business entitled to a share of royalties and touring revenue.

Varoom Whoa, the business entity that operates Paramore, preemptively sued Davis in Nashville Chancery Court in February. According to the lawsuit, Varoom Whoa is fully owned by frontwoman Hayley Williams.

Williams is the one signed to a record contract with Atlantic Records, and she pays her band members as employees.

i think zac farro is recording drums for the new record

would be pretty cool. there was good drumming on the last album but i always thought he contributed a lot to the band's early sound.

ilan rubin is one of my favorite drummers but i love zac's style so i'm psyched

the last three years have seen some of the hottest pictures of the Paramore guys.

The times I have posted ITT after having been crushed by a particular moment on this album are basically the happiest I have ever been in my life.

Yeah it always seemed like a self-evidently great album, but the fact that it's help up this well makes it even more remarkable.

I can't imagine a world where their next album isn't a little disappointing after this but who knows they could surprise us again
