yeah i'm a little skeptical of his 'i never heard tribe before' shit cause "paris, tokyo" sounds straight off midnight marauders.

i'm not usually one for grandstanding boycotts, but if he refuses to listen to a classic album (or several of them) out of spite or some misguided attempt to make a point, i'm happy to refuse to listen to his definitely-not-a-classic new album.

still kinda shocked at how well his new one's selling, though, even given the fact that bougie rap fans are the only kind that haven't stopped buying CDs.
