That shit's truly in the spirit of the thread right there.

I cannot stop laughing.

austinato (Austin), Friday, 23 October 2015 18:25 (ten years ago)

Is it possible this one never made it into the thread?

I Was Picking Up A Teaspoon When Something Happened To My Spine (Old Lunch), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 13:03 (ten years ago)

I guess it's from '81, if you're willing to allow a little leeway for the sake of awfulness.

Lorraine Frisaura, "Be Happy For Me"

I'm happy for you, Lorraine, you got to make your album and yet I am sad that I have still not heard from Paul Bogush Jr. again, even on 8-track:

Everybody In America Should Sing would have made the cut as well, I reckon.

a silly gif of awkward larping (Sparkle Motion), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:49 (ten years ago)

Would've been perfect if "Expect To Hear From Me Again" was stretched across Tracks 3 and 4.

doug watson, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 17:42 (ten years ago)

Anyone remember what happened to Bogush after the tragic accident that robbed him of his voice?

I Was Picking Up A Teaspoon When Something Happened To My Spine (Old Lunch), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 17:51 (ten years ago)

A useless pun dragged out across two albums...

OH MY...40th Anniversary of Ronnie Wood's "I've Got My Own Album To Do." It seemed appropriate to post this here.

And yes, the video does answer the question on the album title.

earlnash, Friday, 30 October 2015 02:50 (ten years ago)

yesssssss. good find.

i get "i can feel the fire" stuck in my head all the time now.

Please take that to the "Horrible 80s album titles like Peter's Back" thread.

Moe Bandy - "I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today"

https://jamesostafford.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/moe-bandy-i-just-started-front.jpg

I think the broken whiskey bottles are a nice touch.

earlnash, Sunday, 8 November 2015 15:59 (ten years ago)

It's hard to tell from the pic but in the photo Moe has just smashed the jukebox with a bottle of Evan Williams. Really good LP.

Tim, Sunday, 8 November 2015 22:36 (ten years ago)

that one seems so classically country though, not sure it fits the thread

great album tbh

Comme Si, Kamasi (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 9 November 2015 19:35 (ten years ago)

wow, never seen that one before. as far as Rod goes, about once a month i think of snoball's "'Hungover & Feeling Rough As Shit' more like" and start giggling.

Frump 'n' Dump (Doctor Casino), Monday, 9 November 2015 19:46 (ten years ago)

has this one made it yet?

Nice job providing photographic documentation of the exact moment they thought up that title

too young for seapunk (Moodles), Monday, 16 November 2015 23:02 (ten years ago)

oh that is a really good one imo. nice blend of 'clever' and terribly awkward.

Frump 'n' Dump (Doctor Casino), Monday, 16 November 2015 23:04 (ten years ago)

Yes, good one, how did I miss it?!?!

Caput Johannis in Disco (Tom D.), Tuesday, 17 November 2015 00:14 (ten years ago)

haha, hilarious stuff

niels, Tuesday, 17 November 2015 13:30 (ten years ago)

popular to contrary belief is def one of the A+ ones on the thread

though Roger Miller "Making A Name For Myself" will never be topped

Amira, Queen of Creativity (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 17 November 2015 14:24 (ten years ago)

that one is perfect

niels, Wednesday, 18 November 2015 10:41 (ten years ago)

IDK I think that's the thread winner

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 18 November 2015 15:22 (ten years ago)

i really seriously couldn't believe it when i found that roger miller. my hands were shaking. if i ever see a copy in real life i'm buying it on the spot, at any price.

Frump 'n' Dump (Doctor Casino), Wednesday, 18 November 2015 15:34 (ten years ago)

haha I think "at any price" for post-prime Roger Miller abums won't break the bank too much

Amira, Queen of Creativity (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Wednesday, 18 November 2015 18:00 (ten years ago)

AT ANY PRICE

Frump 'n' Dump (Doctor Casino), Wednesday, 18 November 2015 18:02 (ten years ago)

Listening to the single, "The Hat," I may live to regret this vow. I mean, his voice is still a classic, but the chintzy late-70s backing track is pretty lame and I miss his trademark vocal goofery. Deep cut "Hey Would You Hold It Down" is more alarming with the Supertramp keyboards. One is about where a guy got his cool hat ("if I ask it nice / would you tell me twice?") and the other is about a middle-aged Roger wishing the neighbors would keep it down while he's trying to sleep. Sorry for party rockin', Rog!
