i really enjoy it start to finish, but not for focused listening. for work, being social, reading, it's really great! i do get bored with it a bit in headphones.

I nominated the Love You Inside Out edit for the 2008 trax poll, but none of you clowns voted for it. It IS great, but I almost wish he had stripped it down even more. I could listen to that first loop forever.

the plan b smalltown supersound cd is pretty good. pretty underwhelmed by the meanderthals track but plenty of solid old stuff like music in my mind

Unfortunate title notwithstanding, Peter Visti's "Night Night Balearic Monster" is a worthy follow-up to "Flight Over Tokyo". Similar intense driving feel to it.

just need to reiterate how amazing and evocative the meanderthals album is - def the best of the recent crop of balearic albums imo. 'lasaron highway' is just perfect

I like this album too, it's on the more meditative side of this stuff, it reminds me a bit of Talk Talk which is obv a good thing.

i've been wondering what track this is for some days. i heard in 2 or 3 mixes so it must be easy. it's got vocal that sounds like rufus wainwright, singing "and the sun got its blue" or something. anyone knows?
