i can't describe how much i love this song. "i'm only twenty-three...I got more to fine" indeed, this song spoke to me in 1993. very high on my ballot. also love the second You Tube video, yeap, they should have been massive.

If nothing else, I'm glad for this poll forcing me to revisit Kingsize and properly appreciate "The Old Newsstand..." The only 'late' track that didn't eventually fall off the end of my ballot.

I really had no idea "Foster's Van" was at all popular before the previous thread. The only track on Boo Up! I DIDN'T vote for, IIRC!

I've Lost The Reason is such an incredible song. Love how it leads up to The White Noise Revisited. Always thought Giant Steps was sequenced really brilliantly.

I just made a list of songs that I think could place in the top ten with fifteen songs on it. Some seriously amazing songs are going to miss out.

yeah i agree, their catalog is pretty strong. i love how the songs that have made the Top 40 are from all the different eras, it proves how deep that catalog actually is.

Brilliant track ('I've Lost The Reason') - surprised it's not even higher

I know not everyone likes it when we put up predictions of what's still to come so I won't do that. I think I can guess nine of the songs that are going to make it but no idea about number ten. I was hoping another song from Kingsize would place but not sure anything will now.

Yeah, it's probably not a good idea to post the predictions - it spoils the fun a bit I think! I'm pretty sure that I could predict most of the Top 10 as well, but I've tried not to think about the remaining tracks too much, because I want to be surprised when the "countdown" begins again.

My number one is still hopefully to come. I'm starting to get nervous it might miss out.

I've never quite got that: it simultaneously seems to be 'We could be so happy here' and 'We could be so, I could be so' (but is probably neither).

Firesky is my favourite from EAF too, my #12. I think I'd like the whole album a lot more if Sice's vocals weren't buried under every other instrument.

I have tried and couldn't (for the most part - I think I found Spaniard).

Still a fair few Giant Steps songs to come. As much as I love that album I'm hoping a few songs from other albums make it. Still have hope for another Kingsize song to place. There's one more song on C'mon Kids that I was sure would make it too.

This song is just so beautiful. I'm still convinced if this had been the follow up to Wake Up Boo it would have been a different story for them.

I knew that this one would pop up sooner or later. I've never liked this song as much as many other people seem to; a girl that I once knew loved this track, and this is one of the few Boo songs that Martin still plays in his live set. The melody is quite catchy, there are a lot of changes, the chorus (I especially like the But you think it's alright / And they think it's alright / So I guess it's alright too bit) is nice, but there's <i>something</i> missing, and I don't even know what it is! So Reaching Out From Here didn't make it on my list, but I don't mind seeing it in top 10.

I've always disliked Find The Answer Within. The verse in particular has always wound me up. Something about it just sounds really clumsy. It's easily my least favourite song on that album.

my number 1 and might be my favorite song of all-time. i have always wanted this song to be my wedding song.

Wow, I had given up hope of this placing. Brilliant song and I'm still gutted it got cancelled as a single.

Oh, Kingsize, I knew that it would be in the top 10. It just had to be. In fact I'm a little disappointed that it's only #8.

Ever since I first heard it all those years ago, it's been my favourite (Boos) song... until Stuck On Amber stole the #1 spot at the last second while I was making my list! It was really close, but Kingsize had to settle for #2 this time. Kingsize is still quite possibly the most beautiful song that I know though. (The single version is missing my favourite bit of the song, so make sure that you listen to the album version!)
