Even with my favoritest drummer in all rock history Fish Fisher (of FISHBONE 'fame') providing drum tracks for Timberlake songs, I still prefer Usher.

chuck check yr billboards - usher outsold/outhit jt by a TON. he had the number one single for like 30% of this year, number one album for 10% of it. jt hasn't had a solo number one single or album YET, and if you wanna stack up usher career vs. jt/nsync career usher still comes out ahead. get a radio dude.

i have a radio, i just change the channel on usher songs. (and the riaa website has justified at 3 million, last time i checked; i'd be interested in seeing how their career totals compare, but i'm too lazy to check again myself.) but again, what does selling 8 million copies or having three number one songs demonstrate? since when do number one songs automatically not suck? nobody said it was a conspiracy; i just said timberlake is more fun. (i also think the gore gore girls are more fun than U2 or creed, and skye sweetnam is more fun than avril lavigne or ashanti. so shoot me, you know?)

This makes me so sad. I remember seeing JT play on "Good Morning America" (or whichever the show is that shoots outside at Rockefeller Center) and spotted Fish in JT's backup band. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

As someone living in a country only worthy of seeing E!'s Live On The Red Carpet, I can tell you that Alison Krauss was supposed to be singing but became sick a few days before - and you could see it, her face was all puffy and see was speaking very carefully.

Anthony, I asked this way back in the first 300 posts of this thread but the subject of Usher/Justin didn't come back up again until later: you clearly have a problem with white rappers who may not have as much cred/talent/popularity as many black rappers, so what's your deal with white R&B singers? why do you keep harping on this Usher/Justin thing?

I think a lot of the relative critical reception to JT and Usher has to do with many factors besides race; producers, for instance. Justin hangs out with Pharrell and Timbaland, Usher hangs out with Jermaine Dupri.
